Gruen manual wind cal 421 from ca 1945 with coin edge steel case tear drop shaped lugs. It’s fitted with a new, premium, Hirsch leather strap.

It features a gold tone dial with minor marks on it and blued luminescent hands. Please note that due to age, the hands no longer glow. It has a sub second readout, with a blued second hand.

The back is personalised “W C Atwater III” and a US Naval service number.
